Saudi Arabia Gifts 100 Tons of Dates to Pakistan in Gesture of Solidarity

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia has gifted 100 tons of dates to Pakistan, marking a symbol of goodwill and solidarity between the two brotherly nations. The formal handover ceremony took place at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in the federal capital on Thursday, where Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki and the Director of King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre (KSrelief), Abdullah Al-Baqami, presented the consignment to Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub, Director General Military Wing of Pakistan.

This generous gesture is part of Saudi Arabia’s annual tradition of providing humanitarian aid, underscoring the country’s continued commitment to supporting Pakistan. Under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia has consistently extended assistance to Pakistan, reaffirming their strong bond of friendship.

Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub, on behalf of the Pakistani government, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Saudi leadership for their unwavering generosity. “This noble act of solidarity not only strengthens our ties but also reflects the profound relationship our nations share,” Brigadier Ayub stated.
