Saudi Arabia announces holiday for 95th National Day.

Saudi Arabia – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) -Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has declared Tuesday, September 23, a public holiday for both government and private sector employees to commemorate the Kingdom’s 95th National Day.

The annual celebration commemorates Saudi Arabia’s historic unification in 1932 under King Abdulaziz Al Saud and is marked across the country with cultural events, concerts, fireworks, and patriotic displays.

Employees in the public and private sectors, schools, banks, and government offices will all be closed for one day to celebrate the Kingdom’s national holiday.

This year’s celebration will be held under the theme ‘Our Pride Lies in Our Nature,’ which honors Saudi Arabia’s cultural heritage and natural environment.

National Day has become a pivotal event in the Saudi calendar, reflecting on the country’s history and progress while looking ahead to its Vision 2030 objectives. The holiday demonstrates the government’s commitment to acknowledging the day’s significance and ensuring that both citizens and residents can participate in the festivities.

National Day was first observed in 1965 by King Faisal and became a permanent holiday in 2005 after a royal decree by King Abdullah.
