QUETTA –Terrorists in Balochistan Will Face Consequences. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has asserted that terrorists in Balochistan will face severe consequences and will not find refuge in the province.
During a cabinet meeting, he reiterated that the Balochistan Assembly has strongly condemned the recent uptick in terrorist attacks. He pointed out that a few terrorists have targeted innocent civilians, resulting in tragic instances of targeted killings.

The Chief Minister clarified that terrorism is not associated with the Baloch ethnicity, emphasizing that the Baloch people have a history of fighting for their traditions and values. He stressed that the terrorists responsible for these acts of violence are not representative of the Baloch community, and affirmed that no Baloch individuals are involved in the killing of Punjabis or Pashtuns.
Bugti also highlighted the importance of having provincial government secretaries present in every district to ensure effective governance.
In addition, he announced plans to send outstanding students to prestigious institutions like Harvard and Oxford. He urged the Baloch people to help identify and expose terrorists, committing to continue his service to the public.

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a crucial provincial cabinet meeting on Wednesday, emphasizing the importance of maintaining continuity of reforms for improved governance. He directed ministers, assembly members, and secretaries to visit inner Balochistan districts and actively engage in solving public problems.
CM Bugti stated that the provincial government aims to address public issues through good governance for sustainable development. He highlighted the need to work for the common Balochistan, citing the province’s harsh climate and the importance of conveying government initiatives to the people.
The CM condemned terrorist organizations for attracting youth towards sabotage and violating Baloch traditions in the name of Balochism. He clarified that recent terrorist incidents involved terrorists killing Pakistanis, not Baloch killing Punjabis. Bugti emphasized the need for the people of Balochistan to decide who is educating their children and pushing them towards subversive activities.
The cabinet meeting resulted in significant decisions, including:
1. Approval of the e-commerce implementation plan to accelerate economic activities and provide opportunities for women.
2. Approval of the Code of Criminal Procedure Amendment Bill to improve governance.
3. Assignment of magisterial powers to administrative officers for betterment and public interest.
4. Formation of three categories to pay compensation to martyrs of the Levies Force.
5. Hiring of experts to locate a new fish harbor site and make the project feasible.
6. Approval of the policy related to the endowment fund of the Fisheries Department.
7. Approval of the Marine Fisheries Patrolling Regulation 2023 to end illegal trawling.
CM Bugti directed all secretaries to ensure timely presence in cabinet meetings with full preparation according to the agenda. The meeting demonstrated the provincial government’s commitment to addressing public issues, improving governance, and promoting economic development in Balochistan.
