MUMBAI: Salman Khan didn’t hold back during Bigg Boss 19’s recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode, where he sternly reprimanded contestants Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri for body-shaming fellow housemate Ashnoor.The 59-year-old actor’s emotional outburst quickly went viral, earning widespread praise online.

In the intense segment, the Sultan star addressed both contestants directly for their insensitive comments.

“Neelam, are you proud of your gossiping? Tanya, you compared her to an elephant, a dinosaur, called her fat, and described her as having a ‘face like a balloon.’ Who gave you the right?” he said, visibly angry.

The confrontation left the housemates stunned, with Salman Khan emphasizing respect and dignity as key values within the show.

Ashnoor, visibly upset, confronted Tanya during the episode.

“Shame on you, Tanya,” she said firmly, calling out the derogatory comments made behind her back.

Earlier, Tanya had been overheard saying that Ashnoor’s outfits “don’t suit her,” while Neelam mockingly referred to her as “Jurassic Park.”

Former Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauhar Khan also weighed in on the controversy, expressing her disappointment.
She condemned body-shaming in any form, stating, “It’s unacceptable — people need to understand the importance of kindness and self-acceptance.”
