Sajid Khan Opens Up About His Comeback and Bowling Against England
Pakistan-(Sports Reporter): Off-spinner Sajid Khan expressed his delight on Wednesday after dismissing England’s seasoned batter, Joe Root.
Reflecting on his bowling performance against the visitors, Khan said, “We adjusted our strategy after the tea break because England was playing aggressively.”
“We needed to take quick wickets, and gaining a lead of around 90 runs against England would be advantageous for us,” Khan explained.
He also recalled Pakistan’s bowling struggles against Bangladesh, stating, “We weren’t able to secure early breakthroughs in that game.”
Discussing his return to the national squad, Khan remarked, “From my school days to domestic cricket, I’ve consistently performed, yet I’ve often found myself out of the team.”
He added, “We can win the match if we set a target of 300 runs against England.”
Sajid Khan demonstrated his abilities and justified his inclusion in the team by taking four key wickets, including dismissals of Harry Brook and Joe Root
