ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Pakistani opener Sahibzada Farhan achieved a major career milestone by completing 1,000 T20 international runs during Pakistan’s World Cup T20 match against the United States, played in Colombo on Tuesday.
Farhan became the 10th Pakistani batsman to cross the 1,000-run mark in the shortest format of the game. The elite list is headed by Pakistan captain Babar Azam, who remains the world’s leading T20I run scorer.

The right-handed batter reached the landmark in his 41st T20I match and innings, bringing up the achievement in style by hitting Milind Kumar for a six. Farhan has accumulated his 1,000 runs at an average of 25.71 and an impressive strike rate of 131.80.
His tally includes 80 fours and 56 sixes, highlighting his aggressive intent at the top of the order and underlining his growing importance in Pakistan’s T20 setup.
