Saheefa Jabbar Khattak Calls for Focus on Religious Teachings in Early Childhood
She believes children should delay schooling to gain a deeper understanding of the Quran.
Saheefa Jabbar Khattak began her career in modeling, quickly rising to fame due to her sharp intellect and strong stance on various issues. She later transitioned into acting but took a break, expressing dissatisfaction with the scripts she was being offered. Recently, she returned to acting and discussed her journey and experiences on the FHM podcast.
During the conversation, Saheefa shared her thoughts on children’s education, particularly highlighting the inadequate understanding of the Quran. She pointed out that many people simply cover the Quran in a cloth (Ghilaf) without truly grasping its teachings. Saheefa stressed the importance of proper religious education for children, emphasizing that formal schooling shouldn’t be the sole focus.
She suggested that children should not be sent to school until they are 9 or 10 years old. Instead, they should be taught the Quran with detailed Tafseer (interpretation), which she believes would greatly enrich their lives.
