SAF National Physical Disability T20 Cricket Championship Grade 2 ‘Sialkot PD Victorious.

Karachi/Faisalabad (Sports Reporter) All-rounder Abdul Salam’s brilliant half-century of 55 runs and 2 wickets for 15 runs and Mohammad Shahid’s excellent performance of 3 wickets for just 13 runs made the Sialkot pd team successful  in Shahid Afridi Foundation National Physical Disability Cricket Chaimpionp Grade 2. played in the 5th match of Physical Disability T20 Cricket Championship Grade 2. In collaboration with Shahid Afridi Foundation and Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association, the host Faisalabad PD team was defeated by 7 runs in a nerve-wracking match at Saeed Ajmal International Cricket Academy Ground Faisalabad in the Grade 2 stage. In the 5th match played, Sialkot PD batted first and 2 balls before the scheduled 20 overs, the entire team was bowled out for 145 runs.

Abdul Salam made a fine half-century of 55 runs off 42 balls with the help of 5 powerful fours and 3 sixes, Najam added 27 runs and Shahid added 19 runs. While doing the best bowling on behalf of Faisalabad PD, Muhammad Khurram gave only 13 runs and Muhammad Asad got out 3 and 3 players by giving 22 runs while Abdullah took 2 wickets. In response, Faisalabad PD chased the target of 146 runs. D’s entire team lost their courage for 138 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Adnan’s excellent innings of 47 runs off 44 balls with 3 fours and 2 fours could not save his team from defeat. Aamir scored 17 runs.

On behalf of Sialkot, Muhammad Shahid did a good spell and kept 3 players back to the pavilion for only 13 runs, Abdul Salam and Najam grabbed 2-2 wickets each. Chief guest former captain Faisalabad region and director Saeed Ajmal International Cricket Academy Sabir Hussain named all-rounder Abdul Salam of the victorious team Sialkot PD as the player of the match for scoring 55 runs and taking 2 wickets. Regional Head Lahore and Sialkot Javed Ashraf and Regional Head Faisalabad Wasifur Rehman were also present on this occasion.
