Saeed Ghani submitted response to ECP regarding violation of election code of conduction
Karachi: (Staff Reporter) Sindh Minister Saeed Ghani submitted his response to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), regarding the violation of the Election Code of Conduction. In his clarification, Saeed Ghani said the rally was not a part of the election campaign, but a political rally. Reaching the District Monitoring Office of the South Election Commission, Mr. Ghani provided documentary evidence to the concerned monitoring officer.
According to the source, Saeed Ghani said that the permits of the concerned commissioners and deputy commissioners are evidence that the rally was based on the election campaign. The monitoring officer directed Saeed Ghani to submit the reservations in writing.
Meanwhile earlier, Ghani was issued a notice by the Election Commission for holding a rally, the text of which stated that holding an election rally at that time was a violation of the Election Code of Conduct.
