ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actress Saba Qamar has shared her emotional experience after portraying the role of a rape survivor in her new drama “Case No. 9.” She revealed that embodying such a painful and intense character was far from easy, as it deeply affected her mentally and emotionally.
In an Instagram story, Saba Qamar wrote that such roles leave a lasting impact not only on screen but also on an actor’s heart and mind. “Playing this character was not easy. Performing such scenes breaks you from within — you have to relive the pain and fear each time as if reopening an old wound,” she shared.
The acclaimed actress added that she considers this role one of the most important experiences of her career because it allowed her to highlight serious social issues.
