Russia Invites Students To International Biology Olympiad 2026

MOSCOW: (Web Desk) – The Russian Embassy in Islamabad has invited schoolchildren from Pakistan and around the world to participate in the Open International Biology Olympiad, scheduled to be held in Russia’s Sirius Federal Territory from May 15 to 22, 2026.

The Olympiad aims to encourage young students to explore current biological and biotechnological challenges, while promoting international collaboration and experience-sharing among participants.

Eligible schoolchildren between the ages of 14 and 18 can participate in teams of 2 to 6 members, each accompanied by one team leader and up to two observers aged 18 or older. The competition will be conducted in Russian and English, with translations into national languages available prior to the event.

Each country may send only one team, and accommodation and meals for participants and team leaders will be provided by the host country, while travel expenses will be covered by the sending parties. Registration for the Olympiad is open until April 15, 2026, through the official website.
