Muzaffarabad — The spokesperson of the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has clarified that reports claiming the resignation of PM Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq are baseless.
Addressing the current political scenario, the spokesperson stated that the news of PM Anwar-ul-Haq’s resignation is false and that he has not submitted any resignation to the President of AJK. The spokesperson also dismissed quotes attributed to the Prime Minister as fabricated.

Speaking informally to journalists in Muzaffarabad, PM Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq said that he will continue to perform his duties as long as he holds the authority to do so. He added that a vote of no-confidence is part of democracy, and his value will be recognized even after his tenure ends.
He emphasized his commitment to his roots, saying, “I cannot harm the house in which I was born.” PM Anwar-ul-Haq further stated that he has no regrets, highlighting that he is the only Prime Minister who left the treasury full rather than empty.
He announced plans to hold a detailed press conference soon, expressing satisfaction with his performance and gratitude to God for his success. Commenting on political challenges, he questioned why a no-confidence motion is not brought against him if others have the required numbers.
