Rizwan, Nawaz power Pakistan to ‘glorious’ victory against India in thriller
Pakistan clinched victory against India by five wickets in the T20 Asia Cup 2022 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
As soon as Iftikhar Ahmad hit the victory shot by scoring a double making it to the target of 182, Pakistanis across the globe came out to celebrate victory against India.
Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan (w) made magnificent 71 runs on 51 balls with two sixes and six fours. Mohammad Nawaz scored 42 against 20 balls with two sixes and six fours.
Asif Ali and Khushdil Shah played a classic game and scored decisive 32 runs. Pakistan achieved the target in 19.5 overs.
India posted a target of 182 runs for Pakistan in the T20 Asia Cup 2022 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
India scored 181 for seven against Green Shirts in 20 overs. Virat Kohli made 60 runs for 44 balls, while KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma scored 56 runs.
Pakistani bowler Shadab Khan took two wickets for 31 runs.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first against rival India.
