Rising Dengue Cases in Punjab: 31 Reported in 24 Hours
Rawalpindi Sees Majority of New Cases, Lahore Reports One

The threat of dengue fever is increasing in Punjab, which has reported 31 new cases in the past 24 hours. Of these, Rawalpindi accounted for 30 cases, while Lahore recorded just one.
In total, Punjab has seen 266 dengue cases in the last week and 786 cases this year.
In a separate health concern, Quetta, Balochistan, has reported two additional cases of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF). The two patients are currently receiving treatment in the isolation ward of Fatima Jinnah Hospital. Dr. Muhammad Ali stated, “Two days ago, we lost two patients to Congo fever,” adding that there have been a total of nine fatalities from this illness in Balochistan this year.
