Redmi 90 Pro Max Tops Smartphone Rankings, Xiaomi 17 Pro Max Drops to Second

Islamabad — After dominating the top spot for four consecutive weeks, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has finally lost its number one position. The latest rankings show that Xiaomi’s new device, the Redmi 90 Pro Max 5G, has claimed the top spot in the list of most popular smartphones.

The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max now holds the second position. The third spot is occupied by the Samsung Galaxy A56, followed by the Galaxy S25 Ultra at fourth, and the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max at fifth.

Other entries include the Oppo Find X9 Pro in sixth place, Vivo iQOO 15 5G (a new entry) at seventh, and Vivo X300 Pro at eighth. The Honor Magic 8 Pro ranks ninth, while the Realme GT 8 Pro 5G (another new entry) holds the tenth position.

Experts attribute the success of the Redmi 90 Pro Max to its impressive camera setup, fast charging capabilities, and powerful chipset, which have won the hearts of users within days of its launch.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has declared the buying and selling of non-registered mobile phones illegal, warning users to ensure their devices are registered.
