Rawalpindi: Strict Legal Action Taken Against Faisal Town Housing Scheme
FIR has been registered at Airport Police Station against four individuals
RAWALPINDI: (Web Desk) – Under the directives of DG RDA Kanza Murtaza, strict legal action has been initiated against the Faisal Town Housing Scheme.
An FIR has been registered at Airport Police Station against four individuals, including the owner of Faisal Town, Chaudhry Abdul Majeed. In collaboration with the police, Chaudhry Javed, the owner’s brother, has also been arrested.

The administration of Faisal Town stands accused of serious violations of the approved layout plan. Investigations revealed that no development work has been carried out on the scheme’s sewage treatment plant. Additionally, 53 plots have been allotted, and no development work has been undertaken on the drainage system.

DG RDA emphasized that action against illegal housing schemes will continue without discrimination. Kanza Murtaza assured that the interests of citizens will be protected at all costs.
The action against Faisal Town has been taken under the Punjab Development of Cities Act 1976. DG RDA further highlighted that verification of RDA approval is mandatory before buying or selling any plots.
