ISLAMABAD: Rawalpindi Police Inspector Aram Khan claimed an international honor by defeating Indian weightlifter Sapna at the World Powerlifting Championship 2025 held in Sri Lanka. Aram Khan secured the first position and won a gold medal, marking a significant achievement for Pakistan.
At the championship, Inspector Aram Khan won a total of two gold medals. Upon her return to Rawalpindi Police Lines, she was warmly welcomed, and her success was highly appreciated.

Chief Police Officer (CPO) Khalid Hamdani praised Aram Khan, saying that she had brought pride to Punjab Police and Pakistan and called her achievement a source of national honor.
Additionally, a Rawalpindi Police spokesperson announced that Inspector Aram Khan has received an invitation to carry the Olympic torch. She also won first place in the deadlift category, further highlighting her exceptional performance at the international level.
