“Government Negligence: Calls for Action on Neglected Project Over Political Bribery”
Rawalkot (Bureau Report) Maidan to Tarar Khul Thirteen Kilometer Road has been suffering from the indifference of rulers, public representatives and Shariat Department for thirty years. Despite spending crores of rupees, the road not being completed is a slap in the face of the rulers and the Shariat Department. According to the details, the main defense road from Tarrakhal to Goi Nala Maidan is only 13 km which was started in 2003 and the work was stopped in 2008 and the dirt track was taken out and walls and embankments were also built at that time. More than 20 crores of tax money was spent on this project, but unfortunately, this road project will be wasted due to the lack of knowledge of the government, public representatives and the indifference of the Shariat Department. And the culverts have fallen into disrepair. This road is still suffering from political war and indifference of the departments.
The importance of this route is that it can be used as the fastest transportation between three major and important districts of Kashmir, namely Haveli, Poonch and Sudhnuti and between Islamabad and Rawalpindi. If this road is constructed soon, it will be able to maintain transportation even in heavy snowfall in the upper areas.
This road has many beautiful picnic points, waterfalls and valleys which will become the center of attraction for foreign tourists.
More than all of them, the huge populations connected to this road are waiting for a messiah, when some miles away they carry their patients on their shoulders to the hospital and some people die on the way because of the difficult road. Carrying the necessities of life on foot and taking them to a distance of kilometers and seeing the difficulties of the people involved in their transportation in this modern age, it makes one feel heartbroken at the indifference of the rulers.
It is surprising that government machinery and departmental negligence is noticeable on such a beautiful and profitable project. The public representatives sitting in the assembly should focus on a big public project instead of awarding the workers with political bribes in one place in order to prepare their votes, so that the people can not only get convenience but also speed up the tourism activities which will not Not only did the youth get employment, but the government also got foreign exchange.
