Rajat Bedi’s daughter Vera compared to Kareena Kapoor

Indian – showbiz – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) –  Bollywood actor Rajat Bedi, known for playing villains, shared that his daughter Vera felt upset after social media compared her looks to Kareena Kapoor Khan.

The comparisons began when Vera’s photos and videos from the screening of Bedi’s latest web series, Bastard of Bollywood, went viral online.

Rajat Bedi returned to acting after a long break and attended the premiere with his wife, daughter Vera, and son Vivaan. Soon, images and clips of the family spread widely online. Many users called Vera a “young Kareena Kapoor,” while some even claimed she looked “more beautiful and charming” than the actress.

Vivaan, meanwhile, was compared to actor Hrithik Roshan by several fans on social media.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Bedi said his family is not used to this kind of attention. “My children have no idea about media, showbiz, or red carpet events. They are completely innocent,” he explained.

He added that his wife and children live in Canada and are used to a calmer lifestyle. “They don’t know how to handle Indian media. Suddenly, after attending the screening, my daughter became a star, and my son was noticed too,” he said.

According to Bedi, Vera felt uncomfortable with the comparisons and was upset being described as Kareena Kapoor.

Rajat Bedi admitted that his children were not prepared for such sudden media attention. He stressed that the family outing was meant to be private but unexpectedly made them trending faces on social media.
