Cool rain brings relief to Lahore as air gets cleaner

Lahore – (Web Desk) – Light to heavy rain hit many parts of Lahore on Wednesday. The weather turned cool and fresh. The air also felt cleaner across the city.

Rain was seen in areas like Iqbal Town, Gulberg, Khayaban-e-Jamia Punjab Road, and Shalimar Link Road. Nearby places also got showers. People felt relief after many dry days.

The temperature in the city is around 24 degrees Celsius. Winds are blowing at about 8 kilometers per hour. Humidity is near 45 percent.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department says more rain may come in the next 24 hours. The pleasant weather is likely to stay for now.

Officials said the maximum temperature is expected to reach around 30 degrees Celsius, while the minimum may drop to 19 degrees Celsius during this period.

Meanwhile, the city’s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) has improved to 110, reflecting a reduction in air pollution following the rainfall.
