ISLAMABAD –(Web Desk) The protest by students of Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) has ended after successful negotiations between the students’ committee and the university administration, with authorities accepting the students’ demands.
Following the agreement, the students’ committee announced the formal end of the protest. The administration confirmed that the previously cancelled examinations will now be conducted between January 20 and January 28.

As part of the settlement, a five-member committee has been formed to oversee the construction of a new hostel. The committee will be headed by the Vice Chancellor of Quaid-e-Azam University.
In addition, the administration has assured that students affected by nearby slums will be provided accommodation in university hostels. It was also announced that Hostel No. 12 will be relocated on January 30 as part of the resolution plan.
