SWAT :(Haroon Siraj)_Qatar Charity provided large number of relief goods among the flood affected families in Tehsil Matta & babuzai Mingora district Swat. According to the details, due to devastating floods in last week of August, the people are facing serious problems needs immediate assistance. Qatar Charity came to the field in affected areas and went through need assessment process and observed difficulties of flood victims of Matta & babuzai Tehsil and other areas of Bahrain Tehsil. Yesterday more than 800 families under the flood response project received dry food packs, tents and NFI in Tehsil Matta & Mingora.
Qatar Charity continues to help flood-affected families in Swat, distributed dry food package tents and NFIs. The food and NFIs provided by the organization to the flood victims include wheat flour, rice, ghee, pulses, dates, sugar, salt, tea, tents and hygiene kits.
Talking with media men during the relief goods distribution ceremony in Matta Swat, Sajjad Khan, Field Coordinator of Qatar Charity Peshawar said that aid is being provided to flood-affected families in Swat and other districts as well. He further said that Qatar Charity along with the support of donors will continue working for the flood affected families. On this occasion, the residents of the area and the district administration appreciated this good initiative of Qatar Charity.
