Punjab’s Chief Minister Appoints 25 New Parliamentary Secretaries
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has greenlit the appointment of 25 new parliamentary secretaries for various provincial departments.
Among the key appointments, Osama Leghari will serve as the Parliamentary Secretary for the Agriculture Department, and Malik Iftikhar Ahmad will oversee Awqaf and Religious Affairs. Shoaib Owaisi has been designated for the Board of Revenue, Mansoor Azam for Energy, Shehryar Malik for Excise and Taxation, and Malik Wahid for the Food Department.
Other significant roles include Muhammad Anas Mahmood as Parliamentary Secretary for Youth Affairs and Sports, Salmi Sadia Taimur for Women Development, and Sultan Haider Ali for the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team.

Ajmal Khan has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Higher Education, Sonia Ashiq for Human Rights and Religious Affairs, and Shazia Rizwan for Information and Culture. Khalidran Jhala will handle Parliamentary Affairs.
Additional appointments are Khuram Work for Local Government Community Development, Muhammad Zubair for Mines and Minerals, Rana Tariq for Planning and Development, and Ziaullah for Punjab Emergency Services. Nausheen Adnan will oversee School Education, Mian Shahid Hussain will be in charge of S&GAD, and Arshad Javed Waraich will manage Social Welfare Baitul Mal.
Rashida Lodhi will act as the Parliamentary Secretary for Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education, while Taimur Ali Lali has been appointed to the Transport Department.
