
Punjab University Students Pledge Support to Pakistan Army
DG ISPR Engages Punjab University Students, Receives Warm Welcome in Lahore
Lahore – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk)_ Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry visited Punjab University, where he was warmly welcomed by students, faculty, and the administration.
During a special interactive session, the DG ISPR engaged directly with male and female students, answering their questions and highlighting the importance of unity and resilience. Students expressed their strong resolve to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army in defending the motherland.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif also met Punjab University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad and senior faculty members. Both teachers and students paid tribute to the Pakistan Army for its sacrifices and for defeating India during recent hostilities.
Participants stressed that they stand firmly with the armed forces for the defense of Pakistan. They noted that doubts and suspicions caused by negative propaganda against the army had been cleared. Students further said that the conversation with DG ISPR gave them deeper awareness about disinformation and the dangers of fake news.
Many participants observed that such youth-focused sessions are essential to dispel misunderstandings and strengthen trust between students and the Pakistan Army. The event concluded with students and teachers reaffirming their full support for the armed forces in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty.

Students also stated that the Pakistan Army symbolizes national honour and pride, with the entire nation firmly standing by its armed forces.
