Monsoon rains are anticipated to begin in Punjab today and are expected to last until August 29, with a strong weather system entering the province this evening.
Cities such as Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and Gujranwala are particularly at risk. Furthermore, there is a heightened possibility of flash flooding in the Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, and Bahawalpur divisions. Authorities across the province have been alerted to prepare for the potential impact of these heavy rains.
