Private Schools in Punjab Must Register on Safety App

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – The Punjab, Pakistan government has issued strict instructions requiring all unregistered private schools to complete registration on the Public Safety Mobile App.

The directive, announced on Wednesday by the School Education Department, Punjab, mandates that A+, A, and B category schools, both public and private, install the app and comply with the Home Department’s security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Relevant offices have received lists of remaining schools, and all communication regarding registration and app installation has been issued via email. Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of schools have been instructed to ensure strict adherence to the orders. The registration process must be completed by March 19, and the department warned that strict action will be taken against any school failing to comply with these regulations.
