Punjab Govt School – (Web Desk) – The Punjab government has introduced an emergency alert system in all schools. This step comes because of the current security situation. On Thursday, the School Education Department shared new instructions. They said that every government and private school in Punjab must install a “pink button.”
It is also now required that all teachers and students register with the pink button system. This will help them quickly alert authorities in case of any emergency.
The School Education Department has also directed beefed-up security in all the schools and ordering all the CEOs to ensure activation of the pink button in their schools as soon as possible.

The department also warned of stern action if its orders regarding pink button were not implemented.
