Govt will not allow PTI to murder justice through bullying: Marriyum
Meanwhile, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has asked those who used to abuse the national institutions not to become their owners now.
While replying to PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry’s statement, Ms Aurangzeb stated that government would not let former prime minister Imran Khan to play a ‘pro-establishment’ and ‘anti-establishment’ drama in order to regain power.
She said nobody would be allowed to play with the law and constitution. She went on to claim that Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N’s narrative was a narrative of constitution and it would always remain the narrative of constitution.
“We will not compromise on constitution, democracy and on the public right to govern,” the minister added.
Ms Aurangzeb said that PTI Chief and former premier Imran Khan himself had confessed that he sought help of the state institutions and agencies to run his government for the last four years. “Now we will never allow murder of justice through bullying and swearing,” she stated.
She was of the view that Imran took aim at the state institutions and he wanted to dismiss the incumbent leadership of these institutions.
She observed that Imran’s ‘foreign conspiracy narrative’ had been buried now and another ‘establishment and anti-establishment narrative’ had begun.
She demanded of the Election Commission of Pakistan to announce its verdict in the PTI foreign funding case. She was of the view that Imran actually wanted an NRO in the foreign funding case, hence he had indulged in bullying, hooliganism and chaotic politics.
She accused the Imran regime of bringing Pakistan to the verge of default. People are paying the price of Imran’s pathetic economic decisions in the shape of rising inflation, poverty and unemployment.
