Punjab Implements Section 144 for Eid-ul-Adha 2024

Lahore: Ahead of Eid-ul-Adha, the Punjab Home Department has enforced Section 144 across the province, imposing several restrictions to ensure public safety and environmental preservation.
Under the imposed Section 144, the sale of sacrificial animals outside designated cattle markets is prohibited, along with a ban on burning incense in public areas. Additionally, activities such as bathing and boating in rivers, streams, and dams are restricted, while the disposal of animal waste into manholes, drains, or canals is strictly forbidden.
