Moonis Elahi may not return after fleeing with corruption money,

Lahore(Abdulrehman) – Minister for Interior and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah claimed on Wednesday that Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi did not have the required numbers and the province was back in the PML-N’s control.

Speaking to media in Lahore on Wednesday, he congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on successful Geneva conference.

The minister, while terming Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan a stain on Pakistan’s politics, said the members of his party wished to join ranks with the PML-N, adding that the  fitna  had been repeating false narrative of of thieves, robbers and corruption for the last five years.

Mr Sanaullah further said, “We know that they do not have enough numbers as 6 to 8 of their MPs are abroad,” adding that they have the travel record of MPs who are abroad.

The PML-N leader also alleged that Moonis Elahi had left by a special plane after collecting all the money and he would not return.

The federal interior minister further said Lahore CCPO Ghulam Mahmood Dogar – who also heads the JIT – had prepared the team’s report in connivance with PTI Chairman Imran Khan and it was completely without merit. “There was just one gunman, identified as Naveed, and Moazaam was killed by a bullet that was fired from a container,” he insisted.

Rana Sanaullah also criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s Chairman Imran Khan and said that he is a “scumbag” in the country’s politics who taught people to be rude.

He said Imran Khan is directly involved in Punjab’s corruption.

He lamented that the PTI government had also embezzled a hefty amount of Rs 5 billion in Al-Qadir University.

He urged the Chief Justice of Lahore High Court to resolve Wazirabad’s incident forensic report issue.

He said JIT report submitted by Ghulam Mahmood Dogar was made at the behest of Imran Khan: Rana Sanaullah.

He said that the incident in Wazirabad is true, the accused Naveed fired but Imran Khan did not get hit

Speaking on the occasion PML-N central leader Ata Ullah Tarar said Ch Pervaiz Elahi does not have the required 186 members in the assembly. He said that they have only 175 members while their 10 members are out of the country. “The members’ travel history is there. If they tried to rig the vote of confidence move, we have their proof,” he added.
