Punjab revokes MS appointment at Dental Hospital after court ruling

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Specialized Healthcare Department has withdrawn the appointment orders of a medical doctor who had been posted as Medical Superintendent (MS) at Punjab Dental Hospital, as reported on Thursday.

According to details, around one and a half months ago, Dr. Mohsin Shah, an MBBS-qualified doctor, was appointed as MS of the hospital. However, the Lahore High Court later ruled the appointment unlawful, raising concerns over eligibility and procedure.

Following the court’s decision, the matter reached the Supreme Court, after which the department officially canceled the appointment orders.

At present, the position of Medical Superintendent at Punjab Dental Hospital remains vacant, as no new dental surgeon has been appointed to the role.
