Balochistan Government Imposes Restrictions on Public Gatherings Due to Security Threat
Quetta: The interim government in Balochistan has imposed restrictions on public gatherings and electoral meetings amid security concerns.
Interim Minister for Information Jan Achakzai took to Twitter to announce the security threat in Quetta, stating that there is a heightened threat alert due to the presence of a female suicide bomber.
Achakzai mentioned that in light of the threat alert, restrictions have been placed on public gatherings and electoral meetings.
He further emphasized that all political parties and candidates have been urged to conduct their meetings indoors. While acknowledging the importance of the electoral campaign, the Balochistan government prioritizes public safety above all else.
