PTV Demands Urgent Degree Verification, Warns of Action

Islamabad – Pakistan Television (PTV) Headquarters has issued a final notice to all employees, directing them to submit Higher Education Commission (HEC)-verified copies of their academic degrees within one week.

The directive applies to all regular, contractual, and professional staff. Despite a previous deadline of January 31, 2025, a significant number of employees have yet to comply with the verification requirement.

According to PTV administration, failure to submit verified degrees within the stipulated timeframe will result in strict disciplinary action. “Neglecting the verification process could even lead to termination of employment,” the administration warned.

The Director of Administration has instructed all employees to complete their degree verification immediately, emphasizing that this process is a legal and organizational necessity.

Circulars have already been dispatched to all PTV centers nationwide, and implementation reports have been requested. “No negligence in the degree verification process will be tolerated,” the management stated, underscoring the importance of maintaining institutional standards in accordance with the law.
