PTI’s Sanam Javed Summoned by NCIA Over Alleged Propaganda During Military Operation

ISLAMABAD: The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCIA) has summoned Sanam Javed, a prominent social media activist affiliated with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), in connection with alleged online propaganda related to Operation Banyanun Marsus, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.
A formal notice has been issued, requiring Javed to appear before the agency on July 21.
According to NCIA officials, 20 social media activists, including Sanam Javed, are under investigation for disseminating controversial content during the ongoing military operation. Authorities believe the material may have been intended to mislead the public and undermine national security efforts.
The agency is working to determine the source and intent of the campaign. Further legal action will be based on the outcome of the ongoing inquiry.
