PTI’s Dr. Yasmin Rashid gets bail in Mughalpura Case
It is worth noting that Dr. Yasmin Rashid has already been convicted in four other cases related to the May 9 incidents.
ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid in case number 1570/23 regarding the burning of police vehicles at Mughalpura police station.
The decision was announced by ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gul, who also ordered Dr. Yasmin Rashid to submit a surety bond of Rs 100,000.
Hearings on her bail applications in three other cases have been adjourned until November 25. Dr. Yasmin Rashid has also filed bail applications in the Askari Tower attack case and the case of police vehicles being burned near Jinnah House.

In related news, former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi was acquitted, while Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Ijaz Chaudhry, and others received 10-year prison sentences in the case concerning the burning of official vehicles.
