PTI says Supreme Court verdict is replete with errors
<>
Criticizing Supreme Court’s detailed judgement that set aside April 3 ruling of then deputy speaker National Assembly that dismissed no-confidence motion against then PM Imran Khan, former information minister and PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry termed verdict full of errors,
Addressing a presser in Lahore on Thursday, Fawad Ch said that apex court ignored ground realities while giving its judgement. He said that the judges should have taken notice of sale of people that was going on in Sindh House.
He was of view that future would decide whether judgement would be appreciated or not.
He also stated that if investigation was held on cypher, then a debate would be held on it. “But many people do not want to launch a probe into cypher,” PTI leader said adding that wise people were aware why cypher would not be investigated which would reveal how an elected prime minister was removed. Meanwhile
PM Shehbaz Sharif has said that detailed judgement of Supreme Court had exposed pack of lies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan who did propaganda about no-confidence vote as ‘regime change’,
In a tweet posted on Thursday, prime minister maintained “Honourable Supreme Court’s detailed judgement on Vote of No Confidence exposes the lies and propaganda indulged in by Imran Khan and company.”
Shehbaz Sharif termed it “utterly shameful” how Imran Khan tried to undermine Constitution and manufactured the lie of “regime change”.
“The judgement is a must-read for everyone,” the prime minister stressed.
