PTI plans major rally in Mardan April 19

PTI to hold large public rally in Mardan on April 19

PESHAWAR: (Web Desk) – Speaking to party supporters, the chief minister said the rally will be held at Mardan Railway Ground at 3 pm. He noted that the decision was made after instructions from the PTI founder, who had asked for a public event to be organised within ten days.

Afridi criticised the imprisonment of Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, calling it unfair. He claimed that the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has been subjected to continuous pressure and hardships in recent years.

Despite these concerns, he expressed strong confidence in the party’s support base, saying the April 19 rally would highlight PTI’s position as a leading political force. He added that the gathering would reflect that Imran Khan still enjoys widespread backing from the public even while in custody.

Afridi also alleged that rival groups and some online platforms are attempting to weaken the rally through negative campaigns. He called on supporters to ignore such efforts and participate in large numbers.

He concluded by saying that even in Imran Khan’s absence, the rally would send a clear message that the public continues to stand with him, urging people from across the country to attend.
