PTI Not Engaged in Negotiations with Anyone, Asserts Asad Qaiser

Peshawar: In a statement refuting rumors of negotiations, Asad Qaiser, a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has clarified that the party is not currently engaged in any negotiations with any party or individual. He emphasized that there have been no discussions taking place through PTI’s official channels or backdoor channels.

Speaking to reporters, Asad Qaiser stated, “There are no negotiations happening with anyone from the PTI side, and there have been no discussions on PTI’s official or unofficial platforms.”

Addressing recent events, he remarked that attempts had been made to target PTI under the pretext of events that occurred on May 9th. He underscored the importance of upholding the rule of law for the progress of the country, emphasizing that no party should benefit by forming a fake government. He reiterated PTI’s unwavering commitment to its principles.

Asad Qaiser expressed regret over the denial of funds and the appointment of a Chief Secretary without the province’s consent, stating that it goes against the principles of federalism. He urged rulers to transcend their personal interests and ego.

Regarding the removal of Sher Afzal, a prominent worker of the party, from the political committee, Asad Qaiser clarified that he does not have information on the matter and emphasized Sher Afzal’s contributions to the party.
