PTI Leader Yasmin Rashid Urges Judiciary to Address Injustices

Outside the Anti-Terrorism Court, Dr. Yasmin Rashid handed over a letter to journalists, demanding the judiciary’s intervention.

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader and former provincial minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid has called upon the higher judiciary to take notice of the injustices being inflicted on PTI.

Outside the Anti-Terrorism Court, Dr. Yasmin Rashid handed over a letter to journalists, demanding the judiciary’s intervention.

Dr. Yasmin Rashid stated that democracy is being strangled, and voices of the people are being silenced. She urged for a review to stop these injustices, warning that such oppression will destroy Pakistan. She emphasized that no amount of tyranny can diminish the love people have for Imran Khan.

She remarked that the hardships endured by PTI workers are unprecedented in history. On February 8th, people came out to show the world that Imran Khan is their true leader. PTI stands with Imran Khan’s call for real freedom and will continue to do so.

The former minister criticized the current government, saying that the way they are stifling democracy will harm not only PTI but all political parties. History shows that those who commit injustices will face consequences. Peaceful protest is the essence of democracy, and such protests cannot be stopped.

She further added that the budget imposed by the IMF is being forced upon the people, and the current government is not accepted by the Pakistani people. She demanded the return of the stolen mandate so that the rightful government can take charge of the country.
