PTI Leader Hamid Khan Denies Fawad Chaudhry’s Return in PTI

ISLAMABAD: In a recent statement to Geo News, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Hamid Khan dismissed the possibility of Fawad Chaudhry rejoining the party, citing the formation of an internal faction aimed at undermining PTI. Khan revealed that Chaudhry and Imran Ismail had aligned with the newly formed Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party,

continuing to criticize PTI on orchestrated directives.
Regarding Imran Khan’s detention, senior lawyer Hamid Khan asserted that negotiations were futile as the establishment allegedly prefers Khan’s continued imprisonment. He addressed internal party dynamics, clarifying that Umar Ayub’s resignation was not due to internal disputes.

Earlier, in an interview with an American broadcaster, Fawad Chaudhry disclosed that Imran Khan had temporarily stepped away from politics to alleviate mental stress, following advice from his peers. Chaudhry recounted conversations with Imran Khan post-release, where Khan expressed concern over reported mistreatment.
Chaudhry also implied opposition within PTI to Imran Khan’s return, suggesting fears among current leadership that Khan’s resurgence would diminish their influence. The unfolding developments underscore internal rifts within PTI amid ongoing political maneuvers.
