PTI issues White Paper, Calls for Judicial Probe into Alleged Election Rigging

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has released a comprehensive white paper, alleging large-scale rigging in the recent general elections.

The party is demanding a judicial commission to investigate the claims, citing evidence of fraud and manipulation.

Chairman PTI, Barrister Gohar, announced that the white paper contains concrete proof of electoral malfeasance and urged the authorities to take immediate action. The party is also prepared to approach the courts to seek justice and ensure electoral reforms.

Illegal appointments: NAB starts probe against Asad, Pervaiz

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has started an inquiry against two former Speakers of the National Assembly on the allegations of illegal appointments in the National Assembly during their tenure as Speaker, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

NAB Rawalpindi in a statement said that it has sought 5 years record of the National Assembly during the tenure of former PTI-led government National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and Shehbaz Sharif-led PDM government’s Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.

NAB said it has received complaints against the appointments made during the tenure of Asad Qaiser and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. The Accountability Bureau said after receiving of the record, an inquiry of the case will be started properly.

NAB said in the first phase, National Assembly officers will be questioned about the appointments.

The bureau said if there was need then both former Speakers of the National Assembly will also be summoned for interrogations.
