PTI intra-party elections on February 5

Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is gearing up for its intra-party election scheduled to take place on February 5, as announced by PTI Federal Election Commissioner Rauf Hassan.

The announcement came following the appointment of Rauf Hassan as the Federal Chief Election Commissioner during the party’s general body meeting held in four provincial capitals, including Islamabad.

According to the released schedule, the nomination papers will be accepted and submitted starting from tomorrow, February 2. Subsequently, the scrutiny of the nomination papers is set for February 3, with appeals on objections to be heard on February 4.

The final list of candidates vying for various party positions will be released on February 4, thereby paving the way for the much-anticipated election to take place on February 5.

This election process marks a significant milestone in the democratic functioning of the PTI, showcasing the party’s commitment to internal democracy and transparency. It allows all party members to actively participate in the selection of their leadership through a structured and fair electoral process.
