PTI Members Protest Outside UK PM’s Residence, Demand Restoration of Party’s Mandate
UK-(Special Correspondent): Members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) staged a protest outside the residence of the British Prime Minister, demanding the restoration of their party’s mandate as a step toward political stability in Pakistan.
Protesters highlighted the importance of returning PTI’s mandate to secure lasting stability in the country.
Addressing the demonstrators, PTI leader Zulfi Bukhari called for the release of the party’s founder from prison, condemning the treatment of party member Intezar Panjautha as unacceptable.
Recently, PTI supporters also held a protest during a ceremony in London where former Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa was being appointed as a Bencher at the Middle Temple. Leading PTI figures, including Maleeka Bukhari and Zulfi Bukhari, addressed the crowd.
At the close of the event, PTI activists surrounded Justice (retired) Qazi Faez Isa’s vehicle, causing disruption by throwing punches and creating chaos.
