PTI Denounces Jail Meeting Blockade, Vows to Fight Oppression
Noreen Khanum told the media that PTI will continue to endure oppression and atrocities while raising its voice for the people.
ISLAMABAD: PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja stated that despite court orders mandating that the PTI legal team and party leadership be allowed to meet PTI founder Imran Khan, these orders have been repeatedly ignored. Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Salman Raja emphasized that PTI will persist in raising its voice against ongoing atrocities.
He highlighted that Imran Khan’s nephew, along with other PTI leaders and workers, have been sentenced by military courts. According to the apex court’s directives, convicts of military courts have the right to appeal, and he urged the government to adhere to laws established under the 26th constitutional amendment.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan’s spokesperson, Niaz Ullah Niazi, revealed that Imran Khan’s family was denied meetings on both Tuesday and Thursday. Over the past five months, family members have reportedly been prevented from meeting him. Niaz Ullah Niazi criticized the Adiala Jail superintendent, describing him as so powerful that he has been defying court orders by not allowing meetings. He added that Imran Khan has called on the nation to come out and ensure the success of the Peshawar rally. Khan has made it clear that he will neither make deals nor compromise over what he calls the stolen public mandate.
Niaz Ullah Niazi further asserted that PTI will face fabricated cases but will not bow down, emphasizing that the masses cannot be controlled by the government. Meanwhile, Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan, Noreen Khan, and others, along with PTI workers, continue to wait at the Dehgal check post for a chance to meet Imran Khan. Noreen Khanum told the media that PTI will continue to endure oppression and atrocities while raising its voice for the people.
