Imran Khan shows dismay over Kastro’s becoming Punjab minster,

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan Wednesday showed a little dismay over Khayal Ahmad Kastro’s appointment as Punjab minister saying the move has damaged the party’s narrative.

In a meeting with the Provincial and National Assembly members from Faisalabad for a consultation on assembly dissolutions, Khan said he did not at all know about the appointment of Khayal Ahmad Kastro as Punjab minister for colonies and culture.

Addressing Kastro, he said he was unaware that he was going to become a minister but its okay, however, Khan added that such a move has damaged the party’s narrative.

It was earlier announced that, PTI’s MPA Khayal Ahmad Kastro will take the oath as minister as the Punjab government has decided to expand the size of the provincial cabinet. The swearing-in ceremony of Khayal Ahmad Kastro will be held at the Governor’s House.

In the meeting, the assembly members fully supported Imran Khan’s stance regarding the assembly dissolution and said that they were holding their seats in trust for former PM only and added that they will resign from the assembly seats as soon as the PTI Chief gives a go-ahead.

The PTI lawmakers said that Faisalabad is known as the Manchester of Pakistan and the country was on its soundtrack to growth in the era of the party.

The defeat of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in the by-polls have shown that the public will be standing with us, they added.
