PSX Hits Record High as KSE-100 Surges

Pakistan-(Special Correspondent/Webdesk): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) achieved a significant milestone as the benchmark KSE-100 Index soared to a new all-time high.

By Tuesday afternoon, the index had jumped 788 points, reaching a record-breaking 86,846 points. This surge follows the approval of recent constitutional amendments, with the stock market gaining 1,500 points over the past two days.

Earlier in the day, the KSE-100 Index rose by 683 points to hit 86,741 points before settling at its new peak.

The bullish momentum was evident from the start of trading, as the index climbed an additional 555 points, reaching 86,612 points. The recovery of the 86,500-point threshold highlights the market’s robust performance.
