PSW, GCUL Partner to Boost Student Entrepreneurship

PSW and GCUL Sign MoU for Trade Innovation

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Pakistan Single Window (PSW) and Government College University Lahore (GCUL) have formalized a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing student entrepreneurship and strengthening trade preparedness. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) reinforces collaboration between academia and industry, focusing on practical skill development, trade facilitation, and innovation-driven learning aligned with modern trade dynamics.

Under the agreement, PSW will work closely with GCUL’s Department of Entrepreneurship to provide students with deeper insight into trade procedures, digital trade systems, and regulatory compliance requirements. The initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world trade operations, enabling students to better understand how entrepreneurship connects with domestic and international markets.

Through technical training, mentorship programs, internships, and hands-on exposure to PSW’s digital trade facilitation platforms, students will gain practical experience in import-export processes, regulatory frameworks, digital trade solutions, and sustainable trade practices. GCUL will facilitate student engagement and collaborate with PSW in organizing workshops, seminars, and experiential learning opportunities. A key feature of the partnership is its focus on gender-inclusive entrepreneurship, with special mentorship initiatives aimed at supporting women students and reducing barriers to their participation in trade and business.

This collaboration further advances the Digital Pakistan vision by connecting young entrepreneurs with modern trade platforms, enhancing trade readiness, and promoting awareness of sustainable business practices in global markets.
