PSL X: Indian Broadcasters Depart Pakistan After Visa Revocation

PCB clarifies board has no involvement in decision

Following the revocation of Indian visas by the Pakistan government, Indian staff members affiliated with the Pakistan Super League (PSL) broadcasters began leaving the country, according to reliable sources.

The government officially canceled the visas of Indian nationals, prompting the affected staff to depart the tournament and quickly exit Pakistan shortly after the announcement.”

According to sources, the Indian staff stationed in Multan were expected to leave Pakistan by today. The remaining Indian personnel were also expected to depart from the country soon.

Sources indicated that the Indian staff had been engaged as freelancers within the broadcasting company.

Sources confirmed that the departure of the Indian workers would not impact the PSL.

The broadcasting company responsible for PSL coverage was identified as a Pakistani entity.

According to sources, replacement staff were immediately available to take over the departed roles.

Sources from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) clarified that the board had no involvement in the decision.

PCB sources confirmed that the directive issued by the Ministry of Interior and the Pakistan government would also apply to the Pakistan Super League.
