PSL 10: Quetta Gladiators Set 217-Run Target for Peshawar Zalmi

For Peshawar Zalmi, Sufiyan Muqeem, Ali Raza, and Alzarri Joseph claimed one wicket each.

Rawalpindi – In the second match of the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Quetta Gladiators have set a challenging target of 217 runs for Peshawar Zalmi.

The match is being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and opted to field first.

Batting first, Quetta Gladiators posted an impressive total of 216 runs. Finn Allen and skipper Saud Shakeel provided a solid start with an 88-run partnership. Finn Allen scored a quick 53 before being dismissed, while Saud Shakeel contributed a well-made 59 runs.

Hasan Nawaz added 41 runs to the total, while Kusal Mendis remained unbeaten on 35 alongside Rilee Rossouw, who scored 21 not out.

For Peshawar Zalmi, Sufiyan Muqeem, Ali Raza, and Alzarri Joseph claimed one wicket each.

At the toss, Zalmi captain Babar Azam expressed his intention to take early wickets and start the tournament on a winning note. On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators’ skipper Saud Shakeel said the team aimed to secure victory and post a big total, highlighting the strength of their squad.
