PSL 10: Quetta Gladiators Defeat Islamabad United by 2 Wickets

LAHORE: In the 23rd match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, Quetta Gladiators defeated Islamabad United by 2 wickets at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
Quetta Gladiators won the toss and opted to bowl first against Islamabad United. The Islamabad side posted a total of 157 runs, losing 9 wickets in their innings. Quetta Gladiators were tasked with chasing 158 runs for victory.
In their chase, Quetta Gladiators were led by Hassan Nawaz, who scored an impressive 58 runs, including 3 sixes and 2 fours. Riley Rossouw contributed 27 runs, and Finn Allen added 20 runs with a six and two fours. Mohammad Wasim also made 16 runs before getting out.
Despite four key contributions, no other player reached double figures.
Islamabad United’s top scorers were Sahibzada Farhan with 39 runs, Kyle Mayers with 22, and Mohammad Nawaz, who added 49 crucial runs. Jason Holder remained not out with 14 runs. For Quetta, Fahim Ashraf was the standout bowler, claiming 4 wickets, while Abrar Ahmed, Khurram Shehzad, Kyle Jamieson, and Saud Shakeel picked up one wicket each. One Islamabad player was run out during the innings.
